Actual Process

The term “actual process” describes a process as it actually takes place in a company. It is the counterpart to the target process. Process Mining generates the actual process from event logs and displays it as a direct follower graph.  Comparing the actual and target processes allows you to check whether the process is taking place as prescribed. The compliance check is also based on the actual process.
