IT generation gap closed by social, mobile and cloud

One problem many businesses encounter is a generation gap in the IT department. Older workers know the unique needs of the company, while younger ones are more adept at integrating new ideas. This is caused not by a difference in skill, but in the varying technology eras the two camps represent, and for most companies the trick is to get the two working together seamlessly.
