The new release continues to enhance Appian SAIL (Self-Assembling Interface Layer), Appian’s unique architecture for delivering dynamic and responsive web and native-mobile user interfaces through a “write once, deploy everywhere” approach. Appian SAIL makes it easier than ever to design truly modern enterprise applications that drive adoption and use by offering the same intuitive, responsive experience across any device type.

This newest version of Appian also builds upon key features, including:

Data Integration Connectors – Specifically designed for Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS), Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft SharePoint, Salesforce, SAP, and Oracle Siebel to further enable convergence of data from across systems.

Interface Designer – New Appian Interface Designer for SAIL give designers more flexibility in building dynamic SAIL forms. Features include expression function search and suggestions, embedded testing of interface designs, and a real-time performance view highlighting detailed metrics on interface rendering time.

Editable Grid – New Editable Grid for SAIL allows designers to create rich spreadsheets for users to read, update, and interact with their data in an intuitive interface on the web or on mobile devices.

Branding – Administrators may now change the brand of the Appian web interface through an admin console.
