CIO released its 2012 "State of the CIO" survey results in January. The summary article states that, "Overall, as 2012 unfolds, companies plan to complete major initiatives using technologies that they expect will change the role of CIO... These include analytics, cloud, mobility and social media." CIOs in regions throughout the U.S. will examine what precisely that means for them during the 2012 CIO Perspectives event series, produced by CIO Magazine.
As a sponsor of the series, Appian will be on-hand to discuss how our Mobile, Cloud and Social BPM combines with real-time predictive analytics to deliver smarter processes that automatically adjust based on new events. This is what Gartner calls "Intelligent Business Operations (IBO)," and it is a path to corporate Super-Star status for the CIO.
CIO Perspectives is a series of one-day events for Senior IT Leaders, held annually in 8 major cities around the country. It is an invitation-only gathering that connects regional peers for networking and knowledge-sharing. While the agendas vary slightly, one common item this year is a panel discussion on "Creating a Climate of Innovation through Mobility, Consumer Technologies and the Cloud." This, and other agenda content such as a keynote on "The Convergence of Innovation, IT and Business Strategy," echo the conclusion drawn from the CIO survey that, "CIOs are focused on aligning business goals, but aspire to drive more business innovation."
An advanced BPM suite is IT's ticket to innovation. Appian enables mobile and social processes that strengthen customer engagement and company brand. We leverage the cloud to up-end traditional equations about IT cost and time-to-value. And our unique in-memory architecture delivers a new generation of more intelligent processes.
Join us at CIO Perspectives in Dallas, Atlanta, or elsewhere to learn more. Hope to see you there!
