With more than 20 years of experience as a results-driven business transformation leader in the financial services industry, Tom Pirone has consistently delivered sustainable improvements, streamlined operations, and optimized costs. His expertise lies in executing strategic technology initiatives, developing governance oversight, and managing large, diverse teams across global locations.

Tom serves as an Industry Leader for financial services at Appian. He works to enable financial services organizations to scale complex operational processes using Appian's #1 ranked platform that is leading transforming organizations across various market segments. 

During his tenure at Citibank, he held various leadership positions. In his last role as COO for the Americas Region at Citi Investment Management, he was responsible for developing the people, process, and technology strategy for a portfolio of 100 products representing $100 billion in assets under management. Prior to working for Citi, he worked at Neuberger Berman. He graduated from University of Scranton with a degree in Management and E-Commerce.
