Mark Matheos

Chief Financial Officer

Mark joined Appian in 2016 and leads the company's Finance, Facilities and Admin functions. Mark was Appian's Controller and Chief Accounting officer prior to being appointed as CFO in 2022. Mark began his career at Ernst & Young and served in various finance leadership roles at Sprint, Nextel and AOL. Mark holds a B.S. in Accounting and Information Systems degree from Virginia Tech and is a Certified Public Accountant in Virginia. In 2020, Mark was a Northern Virginia Technology Council rising star nominee.
