Description:

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has recently modernized and launched the National Registry for Medical Examiners (National Registry). The primary mission of the National Registry is to improve highway safety by producing trained, certified medical examiners who can effectively determine if interstate commercial motor vehicle (CMV) drivers meet FMCSA's physical qualification standards.

During this session, FMCSA's CTO, Mr. Pidugu, will provide a look into how the National Registry fits into FMCSA's mission, the challenges experienced during the modernization effort, and the lessons learned that will increase your probability of successful technology delivery.
