The Department of Transportation (DOT) is delivering innovative low-code and intelligent automation applications with the help of proven IT governance, Agile, and DevOps strategies. The combination of low-code, Agile, and DevOps significantly reduces IT risks, costs, and technical debt. Intelligent automation brings Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and Robotic Workforce Management (RWM) together with BPM and low-code development to quickly deliver results.

One example of DOT’s low-code, DevOps, Agile, IT governance and cloud strategies in action is the Transit Award Management System (TrAMS) on the FedRAMP certified Appian Cloud. The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) uses TrAMS to award and manage an annual average of $13 billion in grants to more than 4,000 state and local government agencies. TrAMS has decreased the average grant processing time by more than 25% and helped the agency earn several consecutive clean financial audits.

Edward Dowgiallo from the DOT and FTA discusses the use cases, best practices, and challenges of delivering low-code and intelligent automation applications in federal agencies.

Watch this webinar to learn how to:

  • Create a federal IT governance model for low-code applications
  • Deliver enterprise low-code applications in a FedRAMP cloud
  • Select and manage intelligent automation pilot projects
