RESTON, Va.—September 15, 2014— Appian, the market leader in modern business process management (BPM) and Case Management software, today announced that Pirelli Tyre, a leading manufacturer of high-end and performance tires, has deployed a series of enterprise-wide case management solutions on the Appian BPM Suite. Pirelli’s extensive deployments range from sales and product design to quality and safety control, all while leveraging enterprise data management and social collaboration to deliver the most modernized IT infrastructure. Appian partnered with leading Italian BPM provider Easynex to drive Pirelli’s initial BPM implementations.

Pirelli’s Mould Management solution uses Appian to accelerate requests from automobile manufacturers for new tire types, or for changes to existing tire models. Appian handles the input and routing of requests to ensure the completion and hand-offs of all related work tasks for improved responsiveness and service quality. Pirelli’s second solution, called Decomplexity, ties various project specifications in the ERP system to the related business processes conducted in various departments across the company. Appian business rules optimize process flow, collaborations and approvals to ensure the accuracy and consistency of all data.
