Primary Health Tasmania is one of 31 Primary Health Network organisations across Australia which commissions health services and health system change in the primary health sector. Its activities include health population planning, program strategy and evaluation, community engagement, service and system design, services procurement and service provider performance management. The company operates state-wide in Tasmania employing 110 staff and managing annually approximately $60 million of health program delivery funding from the Australian Government.
