Realizing the Benefits of IDMP

The standards for Identification of Medicinal Products (IDMP) were developed in response to demand for internationally harmonized specifications for medicinal products.

This paper considers the importance of IDMP and describes how the Appian digital platform technology supports IDMP objectives, including:

• An in-depth understanding of the interrelationship of the various data elements involved with IDMP
• A thorough understanding of the foundational ISO standards that are key to composing an effective IDMP approach
• Appian’s Records for IDMP that goes beyond just data visualization, and goes further to connecting these elements together with people and processes
