It's time for our fifth Sibos! Geneva, Toronto, Sydney, and London were fantastic experiences for the Appian financial services team. Check out this video for a stroll down memory lane.

We're Staying Wicked Fah Apaht

While we are disappointed that we won't get to enjoy the beautiful autumn colors with you in Boston, we completely support SWIFT's decision to reimagine the 2020 conference as a virtual event. In addition to the four-day program from 5-8 October, the Sibos experience will continue on the second Tuesday of every month from November onwards. We have many great events planned.

These include an interactive Roundtable Discussion on Sibos' opening day, Monday, October 05, 2020 at 9:30am CET. In this session, which aligns with Sibos' theme on "Driving Digital Value," we will explore whether COVID-19 has been the catalyst for digital transformation in the financial services industry and discuss the findings of our recent Financial Times (FT) Focus survey, which demonstrates that banks are able to be agile, innovate and implement new technologies when the market demands.

We are also excited to have our own Guy Mettrick participating in an editorial segment with Sibos TV. Guy will dive deeply into the challenges that lie ahead for financial institutions in a post-COVID world. Guy and the Appian team are especially committed to the Appian principle of transparency during this crisis, sharing our insights and experience, so that together we can contain and mitigate the impact of COVID-19 on the financial system and the broader economy. As financial institutions explore ways to rapidly accelerate their digital transformation and cloud enablement roadmaps, Appian's low-code automation platform can help turn your ideas into powerful applications, faster.
