Appian recently participated as a sponsor of the 2017 National Contract Management Association (NCMA) World Congress in Chicago. From July 23-26th, thousands flooded the mid-west city for this conference which was focused on collaboration with the contract management community. Nearly 200 exhibitors, including Appian, were on the show floor to have conversations and offer answers to the various challenges that many contracting professionals are facing.National Contract Management Association 2017 Backpacks

Discussions at this year's conference centered around using the right technology to transform and optimize operational efficiencies. Our Appian applications and Acceleratorsreally resonated with attendees when we were able to showcase how quickly they could deploy a solution in support of their mission.

Additionally, during the event, Appian sponsored the backpack fill initiative with "Blessings in a Backpack" to fill 1,000 yellow backpacks with food to be distributed to Chicago school children who might otherwise go hungry. One in four children face the prospect of empty bellies after they leave school each Friday. Until they are back in school Monday and can get a free breakfast or lunch, they have to make do with whatever may or may not be in the pantry at home. Thanks for helping us give back to the hosting community while we were there.
