September 18, 2015

Calling all process experts, champions, and black belts: this year's PEX BPM Open House officially opens its virtual doors on Monday, September 21st. The BPM Open House takes place entirely online, and features real Business Process Management success stories accompanied by technology presentations from vendors and industry experts.

Speaking of BPM success stories, John Kwamya from NBTY (the largest nutritional supplement company in the United States) will be kicking off the Open House by explaining how NBTY uses Appian BPM Suite (BPMS) to transform and innovate retail processes across the organization.

In 2013, facing intense competition from health and nutrition companies around the world, it was clear to NBTY that adopting an advanced work automation platform could help them maintain a competitive advantage in terms of stellar customer experience and more efficient internal operations. In fact, this is a common problem-turned-opportunity for many of our customers in the retail industry, as technology enables new and interesting modes of customer engagement and, hopefully, satisfaction. NBTY evaluated many Business Process Management vendors but ultimately chose Appian for its flexibility, quick time to value, and instant mobility for all applications. Less than 2 years later, NBTY is expediting legal contracts, beautiful remodels of Vitamin World stores, and even laboratory product development cycles thanks to a series of agile process applications on the Appian platform.

The NBTY case study will be followed by an Appian Platform overview and live technology demo by Appian'sproduct marketing experts.

Interested in what Vitamin BPM can do for your organization? Register now for free, and tune in on Monday, September 21st at 11:00 am EST to learn more about NBTY's BPM achievements, lessons learned, and the power of a BPM-based Application Platform.
