Living and working in a modern world means increasing dependence on mobile applications to get information, share content, take action from anywhere, anytime. As modern BPM software company, Appian constantly pushes the innovation edge to deliver intuitive, responsive enterprise software that is easy to use and available on any mobile device. If you are not able to access content, process, records, reports, and other critical information from any major web browser and mobile device platform, it is time to evolve the technology and the work platform.

At Appian World, Jed Fonner, Director of Center of Excellence and Christine Hutchison, Director of Professional Services at Appian, presented a session on how to Transition from a traditional web portal environment to Appian's modern Tempo user interface. Appian's Tempo user interface works on all the major web browsers and mobile devices, providing a responsive user experience in an intuitive environment that requires little to no training for end users. During this session, Fonner and Hutchison provide migration path from Appian's legacy portal interface to the modern Tempo interface, tips on how to get started, and how to select transition projects.

Attendees got to see before and after examples of web portal dashboards to responsive and dynamic record dashboards; from report pages to Tempo reports that are viewable from any device, and more. In addition, Fonner and Hutchison provided tips on how to migrate from traditional portal to Tempo, refactoring records, data models, and forms.
