Hybrid cloud systems reduce complexity

More companies are launching their own hybrid solutions for cloud computing and many feel these approaches reduce the overall complexity of IT processes. According to Talkin' Cloud, more CIOs are leveraging cloud solutions for balancing security and flexibility, while taking advantage of the ability to keep these tools in-house.

A recent study by Wakefield Research found that 75 percent of hybrid cloud using firms reported less IT process complexity after implementing these strategies. Additionally, 87 percent believe their cloud solutions are critical for growth, and 67 percent noted already adopting hybrid strategies over hosted solutions.

The balance between cloud and on-premise computing helps many companies investing more heavily in the cloud, even if they are unsure of it. This helps migrate more processes to off-site servers without putting security at risk, and still gaining all of the advantages of the scalability and flexibility of the cloud. However, firms should take further steps to ensure their operations are protected and optimized by investing in cloud BPM software.

By optimizing cloud adoption with the right business process management solutions, enterprises will be able to focus on more critical areas of adoption, such as security and privacy, without worrying about the efficiency of the processes BPM software automates. This optimizes workflow while simplifying overall migration to cloud services.

At the same time, there is more to cloud computing than flexibility and security, and businesses need to ensure they are optimizing all of these areas as well. The right tool will make a major difference in how a firm copes with the changes the cloud brings, and Appian BPM software will ensure these aspects all fall into place. From analytics to high priority storage, BPM solutions will address optimization and integration, allowing a company to focus on actual operations.

According to Fox Business, the three questions any business needs to ask before migrating to the cloud are "What do you want to put there?" "How will you migrate to it?" and "What will happen if you change it later on?" Appian cloud BPM solutions will help any enterprise answer these questions and ensure it is taking the right steps to minimize risks at the same time, whether it is new to the cloud or simply adopting a new solution to add to it's current repertoire of cloud services.
