It's no secret here at Appian: we're all about hiring the best and brightest for continued growth of our company. Over the pastfew months, the Appian recruiting team has been busy scouting the bestindustrytalent, as well as conducting interviews of top candidates to add to our growing team of innovators. It seems like every other day I look up and there's a new group of students in the office from schools such as The University of Maryland, UVA, and MIT. Appian was recently honored for this effort by being named to the Inc. Magazine 2013 "Hire Power Awards," which recognizes private companies leading the way in creating American jobs.

Despite improvements over the past several months, getting Americans back to work remains a leading concern for the U.S. economy. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that only 222,000 full-time jobs were added in 2012. Appian is among the 437 private companies honored for the awards, with 37 new, full-time positions created between January 1, 2012 and June 30, 2013. Appian has hired soon-to-be graduates and professionals across all departments including, Engineering, Professional Services, Sales, and Marketing.

Like all aspects of our organization, Appian strives to be an innovator when it comes to hiring. Our team of recruiters, led by Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Michael Beckley, believes that getting the right people for our culture is what ultimately leads to customer success and satisfaction. Though we areadding new faces atthe highest rate incompany history (on pace to add 120 new employees for 2013), wecontinue to show dedication in each interview process. Our recruiters line up multiplephone and in-person interviews with key department and project staff in addition to our CEO Matt Calkins personally interviewing every prospective employee.

"Appian continues to aggressively pursue the best and brightest to add to our growing culture of innovation despite the overall economic status of American job creation," said Appian CTO Michael Beckley. "Continued innovation excellence is only possible when you hire the best talent that can flourish in a best idea wins environment."

Appian continues to hire across the organization to meet the global demand for its BPM platform. If our culture of innovation sounds like a fit for you, be sure to take a look at the Appian Jobspage for our latest openings!
